• Question: is the type of metal captain america uses for his shield real? if so, does it have the same abilities?

      Dear badboifromdaendz,

      I’m afraid vibranium isn’t a real material. Interestingly, it’s special properties are stated as the ability to adsorb sound and other vibrations, which normal metals do anyway. Maybe it just does it better!

      While we’re on the subject, adamantium isn’t real either, which I’m really disappointed about. Wolverine was always my favourite character.
